Director of Internal Communications
Dave Cordero is the Director of Internal Communications at the PGA TOUR, overseeing special projects and all facets of employee communications. As part of this cross-functional role, Cordero works closely with Communications, Human Resources and the Office of the Commissioner to implement TOUR messaging across an internal audience, which also includes remote and international offices.

He also leads the development, theme, agenda and talking points for company meetings and perpetuates the TOUR’s five pillars (People, Players, Partners, Planet and Public Perception) to showcase the diversity of the TOUR.

Prior to joining the TOUR, Cordero was the Director of Communications at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida where he served as the organizational spokesperson and drove strategic communication initiatives around the members and the biennial Induction Ceremonies.
Before moving to Florida, Cordero spent five years as the media relations manager for TaylorMade-adidas Golf in Carlsbad, CA, where he managed global public relations efforts including events, product launches, media training, crises communications, product placement/seeding and media relations. He previously worked at a PR agency in Huntington Beach, where he ran point for major brands including DIRECTV, Nike, VIZIO, TaylorMade-adidas Golf, TRX and others.

A Southern California native, Cordero got his start in sports nearly 20 years ago working in various roles with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings and Fox Sports Net. He proudly graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations.

He resides in Ponte Vedra, Florida with his wife Carly, their son Caleb and daughters Capri and Cressa.
