While studying computer science at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, Michael DesRochers served as president of the Acacia fraternity. After graduating with his bachelor of science in computer science, he entered the field of software development and ultimately went into business for himself as the founder and chief executive officer of the technology marketing firm MicroArts Corporation of Portsmouth NH. His accomplishments with MicroArts over fifteen years include expanding staff to employ about 75 people and the company being acquired by a publicly-traded entity in the year 2000. Michael DesRochers remained with the organization as its top administrator for three years post acquisition.

For the past 12 years, Mr. DesRochers has worked as the founder and managing director of the software as a service company PoliteMail Software. His daily responsibilities extend from general business administration to product design and sales leadership. In 2018, PoliteMail earned multiple honors including rankings among Inc. 5000’s “Fastest Growing Companies” and the New Hampshire Business Review’s “Companies to Watch.”
